Kathryn Kupillas los angeles therapist and coach

Kathryn Kupillas, MA, RYT, LMFT #122539

Founder of Inner Vision Psychotherapy and Clinical Supervisor

Works with: Individuals, Couples and Families. I am adept at working with artists and entrepreneurs, with a focus on trauma adaptations such as workaholism, perfectionism, co-dependency and attachment repair, and offer further specialization in working with spirituality and grief.

Specialization & training: Jungian & Depth Psychology, Trauma, EMDR, CRM/TRM, Mindfulness, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Highly Sensitive People (HSP)

Additional experience: Yoga Teacher Training (RYT), Masters level Reiki Certified

Background: Photography, Video Art & Dance

Bio: I believe that each person possesses an innate capacity for healing and flourishing that is waiting on the right emotional and relational conditions to access transformation. I am passionate about creating a safe and engaged space where my clients can expand into the fullest experience of their lives, which, to me, means building a practice of embracing all the joys and the pains of being alive.

It is our birthright to be open, loving and connected to the world around us, and many of us lose touch with this inborn ability through the protective adaptations brought on by trauma , which have outstayed their welcome. The alchemical collaboration I have with my clients makes way for deeper levels of self-acceptance and self-respect, resulting in an expanded capacity for connection with the world around them.

Evans Wittenberg, MA, AMFT #132884

Works with: Individual, Couples, Children, Teens and Families. I also specialize in working with artists, and athletes.

Specialization & training: Psychoanalysis/Psychodynamics, EMDR

Background: Sculpture, printmaking

Bio: After spending years as a sculptor and printmaker, I discovered therapy–the art I quickly realized I had been looking for all along. The same passion and curiosity that motivated me as an artist, motivates me in the clinic. Many therapists treat symptoms, but I truly believe that the most radical change happens when a space is created for the unconscious. What might be trying to express itself in your life? What might be holding you back? To find this out we will explore your history, dreams, fantasies, speech, and the relationship we form together. All this directly informs me of the exact therapeutic experience you need.

Pam Soffer, MA, CMT, AMFT#136419

Works with: Individuals, Couples, Teens and Children

Specialization & training: Jungian & Depth Psychology, EMDR, Ecopsychology/Nature-Based, Mindfulness

Additional experience: Ayurvedic Medicine, Breathwork, Craniosacral Therapy

Background: Musician and Bodyworker

Bio: Just like a seed, we are all born with the intuitive wisdom we need to blossom. For many of us, personal and cultural traumas inhibit our ability to connect to this wisdom, making it difficult to access our sense of peace, joy and connectedness. With guidance, connecting to these tender places can become an invitation to discover a more whole, liberated self. In our work together, we will explore your inner life, identify limiting patterns and develop your mind-body-spirit connection so that you can connect more deeply to your present embodied experience and embrace life's challenges as opportunities for growth and transformation.

Ben Bernstein therapist, silverlake therapist, IFS, mindfulness

Ben Bernstein, MA, AMFT #137573

Works with:  Individuals, Teens and Couples. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family issues.

Specialization & training: Relational Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR,  Mindfulness

Additional experience: Mindfulness, Katonah Yoga

Background: Music, Technology, Film

Bio: I often felt confused before I went to therapy. Things looked good on paper but I couldn’t figure out why I felt stuck in a cycle. Even the good things in life seemed a little thin, a little tenuous, a little chaotic. In therapy, I began to realize that I often got trapped in a big feeling, felt overwhelmed, and moved away from it. With the right support, I came to understand that the depth in life doesn't come from avoiding hard feelings. It comes from truly holding and honoring them, difficult as that can be.

I work to help you better hold anxiety, depression, shame, doubt, intimacy and just wanting more from life. Research tells us that the quality of our relationships is the main predictor of a full and satisfying life. I believe therapy is a chance to get deep with your most important relationship: the one between you and yourself.

Drawing on my training in relational therapy, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore and evolve your own thought processes, relationship patterns, and habitual responses. Gabriella D’Urso, MA, APCC, AMFT #140147

Works with: Individuals, Couples. Adolescents/Teens, and Families.

Specialization & training: Jungian and Depth Psychology, Psychodynamic Psychology, Attachment Theory, Existentialism, Spirituality, Life Purpose, Highly Sensitive People (HSP), EMDR

Additional experience: End of Life Doula, Master's Level Reiki Certified, Psychedelic Integration, Dreamwork, Astrology and Human Design

Background: Fashion Design, Product Management

Bio:  I work with clients who are seeking a deeper, more meaningful relationship with themselves and others. Often, inner conflicts get in the way and can present as depression and anxiety or coping mechanisms like perfectionism and procrastination. These issues can indicate a difficulty in experiencing opposing thoughts or feelings and can lead to suffering when parts of the self are repressed, often without conscious awareness. Therapy is an invitation to return to wholeness; to acknowledge, accept, and integrate the varied parts of yourself. The results can be a clearer sense of self, authenticity, and general well-being.

The variety and depth of our work will depend on your unique pacing, interests, and intuitive guidance system. I will honor and respect your process, while encouraging you to stretch into unknown territory. I am adept at creating a space for the exploration of your inner world while supporting your personal evolution. Please reach out for a free consultation to explore the possibilities.
