Group Therapy

Group therapy is a means of harnessing our innate sense of connection in order to support our healing on both the individual and communal level. One of the many upsides of Group Therapy is that through talking with, and listening to, others we gain new perspectives on our challenges and have access to a larger support network that can help us navigate our growing edge while also holding us accountable.

It can be astonishing to hear our own experiences reflected back to us in the stories of others and learn we are not alone. It is common for many to feel that no one understands what they are going through. But with a group organized around a specific subject or goal, we suddenly find ourselves immersed in a community that knows exactly how we feel, and freed from isolating narrative of our “aloneness”.

At Inner Vision we work in “Closed Groups”, meaning, members come together for a pre-determined length of time and no other members are permitted to join during the duration. This ensures a stability in the space, without ongoing commitment for its members. New groups will be formed at seasonal intervals around specific topics or ambitions to be set in advance.
